After another strong year as a Property Development Finance lender, we look forward to 2017 and what the months ahead hold for us and our clients.
In 2016, we completed on more Development Loans than any other year. Many developers in the South East were left high and dry in the wake of Brexit. Lenders across the UK suddenly stopped offering loans, panicking as the result came in.
During the summer months, we were able to offer a number of South East Developers the opportunity to continue with their developments. Our personal approach to Property Development Finance provided the security that customers needed.
Yes. For the coming year, we will continue to focus on supporting developers across the South East of England. The current climate is relatively stable; property prices have continued to rise consistently over the past few months.
Our priority is to help developers – big and small – turn their development plans into a reality by supporting them from initial purchase through to marketing and sale of the property.
Demand for housing in the South East of England continues to rise. Commuter lifestyles have seen a demand for family housing across the southern corner of the UK. Supply has struggled to match this demand, though.
